Up River’s owners, Dan and Jennifer King, have made decor changes that give the dining rooms a warm, romantic feel. The menu tends more toward basics like strip steak and onion rings, or roasted pork chops. Something a little out of the ordinary shows up here and there, like the pumpkin spaetzle that comes with the pork chop tonight, or a dish of Stonington sea scallops flavored with white truffle oil.
